HEDIS Associate
Omni Healthcare, a premier multispecialty group in Melbourne, Florida is currently seeking a number of candidates to work in our Quality Programs Division. These Administrative positions report to the Network Quality Programs Director/EMR Administrator and require experienced and motivated individuals with excellent customer service and communication skills capable of working with all levels of staff and providers and with the desire to help in our commitment to provide high quality healthcare to the community.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supports the ongoing HEDIS project by continuous review of records, collection of medical records, abstraction of medical records and other data
· Ongoing review of records submitted by providers
· Evaluating member compliance with Quality Measures
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Participates in meetings with vendors for the medical record collection process
· Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
· Travel to provider offices
· Training and educating staff and providers on quality measures

· 2 years of clinical experience in a high volume multi-specialty, primary care or internal medicine medical practice working with HEDIS and related quality programs
· Knowledge and use of EHR systems (Allscripts)
· Basic knowledge of HEDIS and NCQA.
· Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
Education:
High School or GED
Preferred Medical Assistant Certification
Other qualifications:
Medical terminology, Bilingual is a plus.
