Job Description
The Golf Cart Attendant will be responsible for giving the highest level of guest service, while maintaining the golf car fleet, staging area, practice facility in an appealing manner.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Enthusiastic greeting of guests (by name if possible)
- Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner making them feel welcome
- Display conduct in an appropriate manner at all times in accordance with the Omni Hotels
- Working knowledge of club operations
- Render professional advice, opinions, assistance, and services as required.
- Perform duties and meet requirements for tournaments, club rentals and services which the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Professionals deems necessary.
- Promote the interests of the resort in providing service to the guest.
- Provide a guest friendly environment
HOTEL SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
- Must be able to operate the hand-held radio communication device
- Must be able to effectively communicate with fellow staff members, valet and bell staff
- Must be knowledgeable in trail access locations, bike rentals and appropriate fishing locations
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
- Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Assist in other departments as needed
- Attend monthly departmental meetings
TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:
- Radio
ENVIRONMENT:
Outdoor atmosphere in multiple weather conditions.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Knowledge, Training, & Work Experience)
- Knowledge of the game of golf is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, mornings and evenings
