Job Description

It's a great time to joing the Omni Severin team! The Omni Severin Hotel’s multi-million-dollar renovation has wrapped up, and blends the hotel’s illustrious past with Art Deco details and modern amenities for today’s traveler. The newly redesigned guestrooms and suites, along with the café, bar, and lobby, perfectly complement state-of-the-art meeting and event spaces. We are now seeking an enthusiastic Group Sales Manager to sale amazing experiences for guests and clients at Omni Severin! 

 

This role will assist implementing all strategies and activities to generate and maximize overall revenue, through marketing, sales, promotion, advertising, and public relations that will impact positively on all operating departments of the hotel, thereby resulting in a profitable return on the ownership's investment. 

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. 
  • Follow booking guidelines.
  • Ensure full maximization of rooms potential
  • Execute tactical sales plans. 
  • Active solicitation of key accounts to generate direct sales.
  • Maintain Sale's Team focus on a proactive solicitation environment. 
  • Promote high visability of hotel through active involvement in industry associations and trade shows. 
  • Support and promote all Corporate programs to increase customer awareness of Omni Hotels and Resorts. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Sales or related fields. 
  • Preferably 2-4 years of hotel experience. 
  • Extensive computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Delphi and Word Perfect. 
  • Must have high level of written and oral communication skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. 
  • Broad organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision. 
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
