Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Guest Service Associate to join our team at Omni Hotels. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing guest loyalty by delivering exceptional service, while ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes. Your contributions will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of excellence that Omni Hotels is known for.
Responsibilities
- Be fully acquainted with the different points of interest.
- Assist in arranging for restaurant reservations and limousines and any other requests as required by our guests.
- Accept other special duties as required by management.
- Interact with all other departments to ensure that guests’ needs are satisfied.
- Provide service calls to VIPs and various other guests.
- Proactively work to seek out ways in which to improve the hotel experience for our guests.
- Provide exemplary service and support to guests, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience throughout their stay.
- Develop thorough knowledge of Select Guest member programs, promotions, and benefits.
- Ensure perfect delivery of package elements, hand-written cards, and VIP amenities with Housekeeping, Room Service, and Front Desk teams.
- Review and address pre- and post-stay communications and feedback from Select Guests.
- Serve as the Ambassador for the Front of the House.
- Familiarize yourself with reservations, rooms control, and basic room inventory.
- Develop thorough understanding of check-in & Check- out procedures and policies.
- Familiarize yourself with hotel facilities.
- Familiarize yourself with inter-relationships between departments.
- Stay well-versed on local attractions, points of interest, and unique experiences to recommend to our guests.
- Assist in making restaurant reservations, booking taxis, and arranging luxurious transportation for our guests.
Qualifications
- Would work with boxes and packages, so an essential job function is being able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience as a Concierge within the hotel industry is preferred.
- Must be flexible and able to work AM, PM, weekends and holidays, full time position
