Job Description
Coordinate all department activities necessary to maintain the highest standards possible of quick, efficient, and professional food & beverage service to guest’s room.
Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal performance in the day-to-day operation.
- Take phone orders from guests.
- Knowledge of IRD service times, menu and specials
- Coordinate pick-up & delivery of orders
- Coordinate & assist with removal of trays
- Responsible for set-up, delivery, and presentation of amenities
- Prepare posting & payment of checks.
- Conduct administrative work requirements as assigned by manager
- Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications
- Ensure that all health standards are consistently maintained through the maintenance and cleanliness of food prep & service areas.
Qualifications
- Candidate is required to have at least 1 year in a hotel food & beverage role or related field.
- Previous cash handling experience required.
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment.
- Must be proficient with computers.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Move, bend, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance.
- Must be Food Handlers certified.
- Must be STAR certified.
