Job Description
To carry out daily operations in the pool area to provide a positive guest experience. To maintain the common area and facilities on the premises of the pool deck.
Responsibilities
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of pool facility.
- Organize the lounge chairs in an orderly fashion.
- Maintain the lounge chairs with weekly cleaning.
- Bus tables; assist servers to help meet business demands.
- Assist servers to transport prepared food and beverages from kitchen/bar to ppol in a timely manner.
- Assist with the cabanas and towel hut operations.
- Ensure guest safety by enforcing all rules and respectfully assist guests/members upon request.
- Provide exceptional guest service.
- Maintain knowledge of food and beverage pool offerings.
- Provide clean pool towels and remove dirty towels, placing them in laundry chute.
- Open umbrellas at the beginning of morning shift, and close umbrellas at the end of afternoon shift.
- Patrol pool area and remove all trash.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
- Organize the lounge chairs in an orderly fashion
- Maintain the lounge chairs with weekly cleaning
- Maintain the cleanliness of the pool decks by performing pool sweeps.
- Attend monthly department meetings and company required training.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
- Must have and maintain current Food Handlers and TABC certifications.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to work flexible shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to stand for an entire shift, doing repetitive work.
- Ability and willingness bend, stretch, reach, and push moderate to heavy weight.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Must be comfortable in and around pools.
