This role requires a thorough understanding of front desk procedures, guest services, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.Responsibilities
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Address and resolve guest scenarios courteously and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Oversee and support all front desk operations, including the completion of A.M. and P.M. Front Desk checklists, PBX Checklist, and Guest Service Duties.
- Train new associates in front desk procedures, guest services, and operational systems.
- Serve as the acting supervisor for the Front Desk / Guest Services team in the absence of the Assistant Manager.
- Utilize and maintain proficiency in technical systems, including :
- Opera, Vision, Synergy, Nucleolus, Epitome, and Vingcard systems.
- Medialla, Rate Discrepancy, NXTV, Tax Exempt processes, and .com / wholesale bookings.
- Manage and monitor reservation special packages and reports (e.g., Complimentary Rooms Report).
- Understand and communicate radio codes and hotel emergency procedures.
- Ensure familiarity with all hotel facilities and their inter-departmental relationships.Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and courtesy.
- Proficiency in cash handling and reconciliation.
- Advanced computer and technical skills, including familiarity with office equipment (copiers, fax machines, radios, and Nextel).
- Strong training and leadership abilities.Physical Requirements :
- Ability to stand for extended periods.Work Environment :
- Primarily indoors, with occasional exposure to exterior conditions.Tools / Equipment :
