What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Lead position at Omni Inclusive?
Mandatory Skills : Manual testing, qTest, Agile, Python Automation
To develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and objectives in collaboration with project stakeholders to define testing scope, goals, and deliverables. (1.) To participate in functional as well as technical discussions with the client / team to understand functional / design specifications, highlight performance concerns, inconsistencies, ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place / kept upto date. (2.) To Identify opportunities for process improvement in testing methodologies / tools and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process. (3.) To oversee the creation and execution of automated test scripts ensuring consistency and alignment with quality standards to minimize exposure. (4.) To develop / guide and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
Additional requirement :
Ability to understand requirement, break down to test scenarios cases prepare test data.
Ability to do Test planning, execute and defect management along with test artifacts collation.
Test Automation with Python scripting experience is mandatory.
Hands-on experience in testing the ServiceNow application
Automated Test Framework knowledge is Plus
Must have extensive experience on Jira and QTest for Test and defect management
Should have knowledge or experience API Testing experience using Postman
Strong SQL knowledge to test the database is must
Must be able to interface directly with customers and work with offshore team, strong communication is a must
