Position: Cargo Handler
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Process all aspects of materials (Receiving, Pick, Pack, QC, & Ship) using warehouse inventory software’s (FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.)
- Labels and ships orders to established procedures for each customer.
- Accurately picks and weighs all shipments.
- Inspects freights and follows appropriate reporting procedures (NCR & DMR)
- Assists with inventory and cycle counts.
- Assures and monitors freight security.
- Helps split, strap, seals, and QC’s of customers’ freight.
- Rotates and re-stocks shelves according to FIFO inventory procedures.
- Follows all procedures (work instructions, training, etc.), policies, processes, and customer profiles appropriately without making exceptions.
- Verifies all inbound and outbound materials.
- Provide prompt and accurate customer service, assuring customer satisfaction.
- Arrange and maintain filing and recording systems.
- Documents and records monthly activities for period end reporting.
- Forklift movement and shrink wrapping of pallets
- Overall general upkeep of warehouse and ensure warehouse safety.
- Generate report per customer’s request
- Perform NFO’s (Next Flight Out) processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in general warehouse knowledge in receiving, warehouse management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Detail oriented with 100% accuracy is a must without exception.
- Prior QC experience is required.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong MS Word and Excel knowledge.
- Warehouse Oracle Database Experience is a plus.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. individually & assisted lifting for any weight above 50 lbs.
- Forklift Certified preferred.
- Works efficiently under general or minimal supervision.
- H.S. Grad or equivalent.
- HIPPA Trained.
- A professional self-starter with good common sense and strong problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others at all levels within the organization.
- Have positivity, enthusiasm, and the drive to succeed as well as a passion for the job.
- A coachable Team Player.
- ESD experience is a plus.
