What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer/Planner position at Omni One?
Our client
is a global manufacturing organization that is growing rapidly in the United States. Their business continues to thrive going into 2025, and due to this growth, they currently need to add another Planner / Scheduler to their team. Main duties of the Planner / Scheduler include :
Work closely with the Materials Manager on all high-volume production planning activities
Aid in coordinating processes associated with purchased goods and inventory control
Prepare quotes, bids and purchase orders
Utilize an SAP system to help streamline production planning
Aid in buying activities including negotiating with key suppliers and customers
Work closely with Quality Control for corrective actions to reduce defects
Qualifications include :
BS degree desired, but not required (will look at experience over education)
Strong SAP or ERP / MRP experience
Self-motivated and driven (willing and able to work on your own while still part of a large procurement team)
At least 2-4 years of experience planning and scheduling production for a large manufacturing facility
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
