Duties of the Chemical Process Engineer include :
Monitor processes, determine bottlenecks and deficiencies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Reduce material waste in processes
Help lead capital equipment upgrades to processes
Ensure process compliance with quality and safety standards
Manage new batch projects
Develop SOPs and work instructions for processes
Work with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment issues
Assist with management of production floor when needed
Requirements for the Chemical Process Engineer include :
A BS in Chemical Engineering
Proven experience as a Process Engineer in chemical producing or chemical manufacturing facility
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
