Position Summary :
This role supports the business operations of the site, including all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting functions, while maintaining a robust internal control environment. The individual in this position must possess a strong financial and accounting background to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Primary Responsibilities : Support the development and implementation of business platforms, including specific reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, Smartsheet, Epicor, SAP).
- Prepare analysis and support to ensure proper accounting treatment for revenue recognition, including percentage-of-completion and completed contract methods, job costing, Work in Process reporting, and labor and overhead reporting.
- Assist in resolving accounting issues, managing customer collections, vendor payments, non-routine transactions, invoicing, and other related activities.
- Collect and evaluate data to provide recommendations for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, pricing, capital investments, inventory management, and departmental cost analysis, along with ad hoc financial assessments.
- Apply knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger, and departmental structures to ensure consistency across all site locations.
- Assist with accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting.
- Work closely with management to ensure accounting methods, policies, and principles comply with GAAP, Corporate Reporting Standards, and Internal Controls.
- Qualifications Required : Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting systems.
- Proven experience with accounting and reporting systems.
