What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager position at Omni One?
Our client
is a global manufacturing organization serving multiple industries across the world. Due to their diverse industry base and commitment to excellence in manufacturing, they have grown rapidly in recent years. Their Atlanta GA manufacturing operation is currently looking to hire someone to lead operations while reporting to the Plant Manager.
Main duties of the Operations Manager include :
Directly leading a small team of Production Supervisors
Ensure KPI’s are met, tracked and reported
Utilize skills such as Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma to help improve plant processes
Work closely with Maintenance and Quality to ensure plant goals are met
Act as a safety-driven manager, constantly ensuring safety goals are met and recordable incidents are down
Qualifications include :
BS degree (in any field, but technical preferred)
Strong manufacturing plant leadership experience
Lean / CI driven leader
Exceptional communication skills and natural leadership
Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
