Omni-Serv partners with the passenger airlines industry and carrier services to perform various aviation roles. Currently, we are seeking a Automotive Technician to perform and oversee preventative maintenance and immediate repairs on ground Support equipment (GSE) including but not limited to belt loader, tug vehicles, dollies, and container loaders.
Compensation : $24.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience, medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k
Shift : 3rd- 3 : 00 pm- 12 : 00 am
Job Responsibilities
- Receive work orders and obtain the necessary tools required for the repair
- Inspect parts and / or motor vehicles to identify defective or broken components
- Repair hydraulic, electric, and mechanical systems
- Obtain replacement parts, install and / or make repairs as required- repair may require rebuilding as assemblies, systems, etc.
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual quality control checks on the equipment.
- Complete work orders and provides status on any "open" work orders
- Ensure safe and secure operations, in accordance with the highest possible standards of health, safety, security, and all government statutory requirements
- Must be able to safely operate all vehicles and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) -Perform Daily Equipment Checks (DEC's)
- Maintain records relating to maintenance.
