TITLE: REWIND OPERATOR
REPORTS TO (TITLE): TEAM LEADER
FLSA Status: NON-EXEMPT

GENERAL FUNCTION - Sets up and operates equipment, such as Arpeco’s and Rewind table. Prepares product for customers by removing defective product and packing product properly in containers.
SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS - List major activities performed.
* Operate, troubleshoot and correct problems with Arpeco or Rewind Table
* Stack and Pile finished goods into containers
*Pack product following specific set of instructions
* Check to ensure containers are damage free
* Remove defective products from materials
* Move completed packages for loading using power industrial equipment
* Escalate safety, quality, productivity or people concerns to Team Leader

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Working Environment: Shop Floor
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience and Skills Required: Basic math and reading skills required. Must be able to lift up to approximately 50 pounds. Attention to detail needed. Light Fork Lift experience would be beneficial.
