Compensation:
Nurse Practitioners: Average range in MA: $115,000 – $138,350/year (~$55–$66/hour)
Physician Assistants: Average range in MA: $112,000 – $137,130/year (~$54–$66/hour)

Omni Wound Physicians (OWP) is seeking compassionate, clinically-focused Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our exceptional mobile wound care team in Arlington, Worcester, and surrounding Massachusetts communities.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage diverse wounds (pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, venous/arterial ulcers)
Perform advanced procedures including sharp debridement, tissue biopsies, negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), and dressing changes
Develop and modify patient-specific wound care plans
Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff about wound prevention and management
Maintain timely, accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation in EMR
Travel daily within your assigned service area (average 50–70 miles/day, mileage reimbursed)
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
Graduate of accredited NP or PA program
Current, unrestricted Massachusetts NP or PA license
National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred specialties include wound care, geriatrics, internal medicine, primary care, home health)
Active BLS certification
Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
Certified Wound Specialist (CWSP, CWS) or willingness to obtain certification within six months
DEA registration (preferred but not required)
Experience in skilled nursing, home health, or mobile healthcare environments
Proficiency with EMR systems and digital documentation tools
Massachusetts Regulatory & Compliance Requirements:
Nurse Practitioners:
Active Massachusetts NP license
National certification (AANP/ANCC)
Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR) and DEA registration preferred
Collaborative Practice Agreement (CPA) as required
Completion of state-required Continuing Education (CE) credits every two years
Physician Assistants:
Active Massachusetts PA license
National certification (NCCPA)
Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR) and DEA registration preferred
Supervising Physician Agreement as required
Completion of state-required Continuing Medical Education (CME) every two years
All providers must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing or Physician Assistant Board.
Physical & Technical Requirements:
This mobile role requires physical mobility (walking, standing, kneeling, bending, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.) and safe vehicle operation. Cognitive requirements include clinical judgment, multitasking, and effective problem-solving. Proficiency with mobile devices, EMR software, email, and team communication platforms (such as Slack) is essential.
