Omni Wound Physicians (OWP) is actively hiring Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to provide high-quality, mobile wound care services throughout Washington. Providers travel to skilled nursing facilities, long-term care centers, and private homes, delivering compassionate care with clinical precision.
This role is ideal for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who are clinically driven, detail-oriented, and ready to deliver patient care in a dynamic field setting, with support from a responsive operations and clinical leadership team.
Hiring Areas
Western Washington – Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, Olympia, Vancouver, Auburn
Eastern Washington – Spokane, Yakima, Tri-Cities
Rural & Underserved Regions – Hiring statewide based on clinical need and patient volume
Schedule & Shift Details
Minimum scheduling: Two shifts per week
Shifts typically between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM local time
Full-time: 30 hours/week
Part-time: Minimum two shifts/week
On-call or weekend coverage may be required with notice
Employment classification (full-time/part-time) is based on hours worked, volume, and business need
Providers may structure visit flow to optimize clinical efficiency and travel
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly compensation plus mileage reimbursement

Field Assistant Support:
Based on clinical volume and operational capacity, Field Assistants may be assigned to support with documentation, wound photography, logistics, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of wound types (pressure ulcers, diabetic wounds, surgical wounds, arterial/venous ulcers)
Perform debridement, biopsies, NPWT, and advanced dressing procedures
Create and update individualized wound care plans
Educate patients, families, and facility staff on wound prevention and care
Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation using secure EMR systems
Drive between patient locations as required; mileage may vary and may exceed 50–70 miles per day depending on coverage area and provider’s location
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
Active, unrestricted license in Washington State
National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (wound care, geriatrics, internal medicine, or similar)
BLS certification
Valid Washington driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
Wound care certification (CWSP, CWS) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
DEA registration – not required but preferred
Experience in skilled nursing, home health, or mobile care
EMR and mobile documentation proficiency
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal APP is clinically confident, detail-oriented, and dependable. They possess strong critical thinking skills, communicate clearly with patients and clinical teams, and are comfortable operating independently in a mobile care setting. A background or strong interest in wound care and patient education is highly valued.
Regulatory & Compliance – Washington
Nurse Practitioners:
Active Washington NP license
National certification (AANP or ANCC)
Full practice authority permitted in Washington
DEA registration – preferred but not required
30 CE hours every two years
Physician Assistants:
Active Washington PA license
National certification through NCCPA
Collaborative Practice Agreement with a supervising physician
DEA registration – preferred but not required
100 CME hours every two years
All APPs must comply with the Washington State Department of Health and maintain active credentials and continuing education as required.
Physical, Cognitive & Technical Requirements
This mobile care role requires the ability to walk, stand, kneel, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and safely operate a motor vehicle to drive between patient sites. Clinical decision-making, focus, and adaptability are critical. Providers must use EMRs, mobile devices, email, and communication tools to coordinate care and document effectively.
