The Nurse Practitioner is a key part of the clinical team, delivering advanced wound care and feeding tube management services across a designated region. The role involves extensive travel to provide hands-on care in various settings, ensuring optimal patient recovery and satisfaction. Strong clinical expertise, problem-solving, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities :Advanced Clinical Care :Evaluate, diagnose, and manage various types of acute and chronic wounds (e.g., venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic wounds).Perform specialized procedures such as debridement, negative pressure therapy, and feeding tube placements and maintenance.Monitor wound healing and adjust treatment plans accordingly.Patient Advocacy and Education :Develop personalized care plans and educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on wound care and feeding tube management.Professionalism and Collaboration :Maintain respectful communication with primary care providers, facility teams, and other healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative care environment.Communication and Documentation :Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EHR systems and provide updates on patient progress to stakeholders while adhering to HIPAA regulations.Workflow Optimization and Innovation :Identify and implement improvements in clinical workflows to enhance care delivery and operational effectiveness.Regional Travel and Adaptability :Travel extensively (50–70 miles daily) to various care sites, adapting to diverse clinical settings.Safety and Compliance :Follow infection control protocols and respond to urgent patient needs, ensuring safety and compliance with OWP policies.Pay rate : from $75 / hr.Position Requirements :Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Washington State.National certification through NCCPA.DEA registration to prescribe controlled substances.Job Type : Full-Time / Part-Time
