Omnicell is seeking an experienced and hands-on Manager of Software Engineering to lead our development team in creating innovative healthcare technology solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define and implement software solutions that meet the needs of healthcare providers
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from design and architecture to deployment and maintenance
- Actively participate in hands-on development tasks, including coding, debugging, and troubleshooting both new applications and legacy systems
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering, including code quality, testing, and documentation
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to deliver high-quality software on schedule
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in healthcare IT
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 6 years of relevant experience; or
