Overview
As the Planning Lead on the account, you are responsible for the creation of the strategic direction a brand will take in communications to achieve their business goals. You are responsible for helping to strategize, produce and interpret the key cultural, consumer and category signals required to design the best possible holistic connections plan to deliver on client objectives. This work should be held up as best practice both within the agency and externally.
You have a passion for people, brands, ideas and a constant curiosity for not just how creative and media can interact together in more cohesive way, but how brands can use media to behave differently. You believe that brands can & should mean something in the world, and are driven by the desire to understand how data translates into meaningful consumer behaviors and actions. As a result, you think of communications across the full ecosystem of paid, owned and earned connection points, creating consumer experiences that are consistent and cohesive with the strategic direction.
Qualifications
- 10 years in integrated comms or planning role in media, creative, innovation or communications discipline (digital, content, invention, social, activation)
- 5 years of previous experience managing and leading integrated teams
- Ability to think differently : creative & adaptive, entrepreneurial, independently minded; deeply immersed in cultural understanding and driven by a desire to know more the world / to better understand people's motivations & behaviors in the shifting landscape
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate persuasive and cohesive presentations and points-of-view that ultimately close the sale
- Knowledge and understanding of client business / current issues and marketplace trends / emerging trends
- Track record of strength in business development and financial account growth
- Ability to foster an optimal environment for idea generation and creative innovation
- Demonstrated experience with Consumer Research and Tracking data both quantitative and qualitative
- In-depth experience with integrated marketing programs including strategic development, analysis and implementation
- Relationship builder, with a demonstrated strong written communication, project management, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ambiguous environment to meet deadlines
- Creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications / skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include : health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD / LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
180,000-$200,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
