The Accounting and Compliance Junior Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the management of OMnet guidelines and regulations to ensure established processes are being followed per client and within the organization & will be responsible for monthly close journal entries, monthly forecasting and any Ad Hoc projects for the FP&A team.

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.

Roles And Responsibilities
Risk & Compliance
- Assist in the oversight of OMnet risk management – managing supplier and client credit risk and ensuring OMnet is compliant with Omnicom’s credit policy
- Assist in managing the internal controls over the tracking and documentation of client opt-ins, approvals, and record retention
- Collect and document audit support for AUP, client and Financial audits throughout the fiscal year during yearly audits
- Coordinate with legal and operations to certify all contractual requirements relating to OMnet are met
- Provide required client payment terms and insurance documentation to investment teams for prospective clients
- Prepare monthly Income Statement and Balance Sheet journal entries
- Gather support schedules for inter/intra company allocations, accruals, and corresponding journal entries
- Assist with monthly/quarterly/full year financial forecasting
- Investigate and prepare variance analysis for month-end close versus forecast, quarter over quarter, and year over year changes
- Load month-end actuals and forecast into financial systems
- Process vendor invoices and set up new vendors as needed
- Ad-hoc projects and reporting using Excel, TM1, Hyperion. Reports include but are not limited to: Client Revenue and Cost Reconciliations, Payroll schedules, Balance sheet analysis
- Finance/Accounting degree preferred
- 0-2 years of Financial Planning and Accounting experience required
- Experience in media or advertising industry a plus
- High proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, lookups, sumif, complex formulas, charts, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Work well independently and on teams
- Tenacity to follow-through on open items to complete assignments and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and follow instructions
