Job Summary
Our Project Managers are the connective tissue of our teams, our ability to run day-to-day operations smoothly, and an essential partner to our internal and client teams. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Project Manager who can initially quickly get up-to-speed and autonomously run multi-channel client projects including video and digital asset localization.
Location: Hybrid out of our Long Beach, CA office.
Schedule: Mandatory in office 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and 2 remote (Mon, Fri). Hours are 9-6pm
Freelance Hourly Rate: $45/hr

Responsibilities
- Gain alignment on the scope, schedule, assumptions, and cost for projects with an ability to effectively translate these to Estimates/Statements of Work.
- Create timelines quickly, thinking through each step that is needed for respective projects. Ability to plan multiple, concurrent projects, also managing across projects to ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met. Appropriately prioritize and manage the workflow internally and externally with the client. Ensure every necessary step of project scope is accounted for within the schedule and clearly organize and forecast deliverables and dependencies.
- Serve as main liaison between client and internal teams and maintain communications ensuring that needs are met, and flags are raised as needed. Capture meeting notes and client feedback to ensure all items are acted upon.
- Motivate teams across disciplines to create a collaborative environment and challenging them to produce great work. Assign individual resource responsibilities and help identify proper resources needed. Lead project status meetings for internal and external teams.
- Manage project scope, timeline, and budget (burn rate) and execute change control when additional requests for features or functionality are made.
- Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines while managing multiple projects.
- Proactive, self-starting, critical thinker with 1 to 2 years of experience managing scope, timelines, and teams in a digital agency or related environment. Past video and asset localization work is required.
- Excellent relationship building and client-facing skills.
- Conscientious and adept at problem-solving through critical thinking.
- Comfortable leading client and team meetings, tailor communications based on audience and level.
- Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and effective communication skills (both verbal and writing).
- Confident, positive attitude, and ability to problem solve.
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company, external partners, and clients.
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, information systems or a related field
- Technical skills: Mac fluent, proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, familiarity with project management tools such as SmartSheet, Jira, etc. and Cloud Content Management.
