This role also oversees fleet safety programs, including driver training, vehicle inspections, and DOT compliance. Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations across all locations.
· Conduct regular safety audits and inspections at each facility to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions.
· Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation to prevent recurrence.
· Monitor and track EHS performance metrics, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
· Oversee hazardous waste management, air quality compliance, stormwater management, and other environmental regulations affecting each site.
· Conduct employee training on safety protocols, emergency response, and regulatory requirements.
· Ensure compliance with workers’ compensation procedures and support return-to-work programs.
· Develop and maintain emergency response plans for each facility, ensuring readiness for potential incidents.
· Work closely with facility managers and production teams to integrate EHS best practices into daily operations.
· Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement proactive compliance measures.
· Manage and track safety-related documentation and regulatory reporting requirements.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives related to EHS through risk assessments and process enhancements.
· Oversee fleet safety compliance, including ensuring adherence to DOT regulations, conducting driver training programs, and monitoring vehicle maintenance and inspections.
· Develop and implement driver safety programs to minimize accidents and improve compliance with transportation regulations.
· Conduct investigations for vehicle incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
· Collaborate with fleet managers and operations teams to enhance safety measures and implement best practices for driver and vehicle safety.
Job Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Transportation Safety, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
· At least three years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environment.
· In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state-specific EHS regulations in California, Arizona, and Washington.
· Proven experience conducting site audits, risk assessments, and safety investigations.
· Ability to develop and deliver effective EHS training programs for a diverse workforce.
· Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to implementing practical safety solutions.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to foster a safety-driven culture.
· Ability to travel up to 25% to support all five facilities.
· Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
· Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet safety compliance is highly desirable.
· Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHMM, or a DOT-related certification are a plus.
· Strong teamwork, initiative, and a teachable attitude.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
