Preference to individuals with prior dietary supplement or nutraceutical Lab experience
Salary: $18/hr and up depending on experience
Hours: Day shift, Monday – Friday

This position is in-person/on site. This is not a remote position.
Must reside in the Phoenix Metro Valley

Lab Technician Duties:
· Follow all cGLP and cGMP guidelines
· Perform compositing of incoming samples and prepare for subsequent testing
· Perform laboratory documentation tasks: sample check-in, check-out, documentation scanning, and more...
· Perform organoleptic testing on raw materials and document results
· Perform routine and non-routine laboratory cleaning, maintenance, and documentation
· Perform laboratory testing such as USP Capsule Mass, Loss on Drying, Water Activity, Melting Point, Bulk/Tapped Density, et cetera
· Perform physical inventory of all laboratory supplies
· Dispose of laboratory hazardous waste in accordance with cGLPs
· Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by laboratory management
Lab Technician Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Some college laboratory or other analytical laboratory experience preferred
- Experience in a cGMP/cGLP environment in food or dietary supplement industries preferred
- Proficient with web-based applications like Gmail, Skype, Outlook, etc
- Proficient with spreadsheet software: Excel, OpenOffice, Google Sheets, etc
- Experience with MS Office, Microsoft Windows and Windows explorer
- Ability to navigate file systems to save and retrieve documents
- Team attitude, willing to help others with their tasks and accept help with your tasks
- Ability to learn new methods, procedures, processes
- Meticulous attention to detail while being able to multi-task
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as organizational skills
- Independence and dependability with ability to take direction well.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, to stoop, bend, or reach as necessary
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
