Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to design, develop, and support customized solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), and other related technologies. You will play an integral part in the entire solution lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and ongoing support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, focusing on the Customer Service module.
- Customize, configure, and develop solutions in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, etc.).
- Assist in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, implementation, and testing for Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
- Design and develop new web components using .NET, SQL, Azure, Power Platform, and C#.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Dynamics 365, providing solutions and working with system administrators to implement fixes.
- Develop and disseminate detailed documentation (requirements, technical analysis, recommendations) on platform usage.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and business units, providing issue tracking, logging, and resolution.
- Assist clients in identifying optimal solutions across Dynamics 365, PowerApps, Power Automate, and other technology offerings.
- Help refine and improve internal processes and policies within our Business Enablement Services program.
- Contribute to the ongoing adoption of DevOps practices in Power Platform (Power Pipelines, ALM Accelerator).
- Stay up-to-date with Microsoft’s licensing models for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform and apply them appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, development, and deployment.
- Strong experience working with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Knowledge of .NET, SQL, Azure, and C# for developing custom solutions.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft’s licensing model for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to create documentation, including technical analysis, process improvements, and user guides.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to support after-hours work as needed.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of industry best practices in Governance and Solution Design for Microsoft technologies.
- Previous experience working in a government or public sector environment is a plus.
