About the role:
Press Operator operates Punch and/or Rivet machines either as a standalone operation or as part of a process within quality standards to minimize production disruption. Understands the position requires hand work and is repetitive.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Including the following, other duties may be assigned. · Able to adapt to different product lines · Adhere to safety policies at all times · Watch for quality and scrap issues while on machine · Foster a positive and productive work environment
Skills & Qualifications:
- · Required to have use of both hands and stand for long lengths of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience not necessary as on the job training will be provided.
- Awareness of production processes and quality controls a plus.
- General familiarity with safety in the workplace a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed (up to 30 lbs.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
