We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Tool & Die Maker. This role involves planning, designing, constructing, modifying, and repairing a diverse range of tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, templates, and parts. This position requires significant judgment to effectively plan and layout work, execute precise machine setups, perform skilled bench work, and maintain tight tolerances throughout the process.

Requirements  

• Over 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers.
•  Skilled in interpreting drawings and specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Follow guidance from senior tool and die personnel, utilizing drawings, sketches, samples, and job instructions to plan and determine the sequence of operations.
• Perform mathematical calculations to select allowances for fitting and finishing processes.
• Layout work as needed and collaborate with machinists on more complex tasks.
• Set up and operate all machine tools, including determining alignment, location, and speed.
• Inspect work as necessary to identify runouts or misalignment.
• Assist setup technicians with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Keep the work area and equipment clean and organized.

• Accurately carry out and document preventative maintenance on dies

Position Details 

• Full Time
• Onsite: 2^nd Shift - Monday to Friday 2:30 pm – 11 pm with some occasional Saturdays Shifts
• Located in: Lancaster, PA
