Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or a related field.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma certification desired.
- 6 years of experience supervising shipping/receiving staff in a union warehouse in a lean environment.
- Experience with inventory optimization to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Proven track record in safety management to maintain high safety standards.
- Expertise in warehouse control for effective oversight and management of warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly Oracle, for seamless integration and data management.
Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Oversee and participate in all aspects of shipping and receiving operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Lead and coordinate the activities of departments or teams involved in product distribution.
- Analyze financial reports, sales data, and performance metrics to assess productivity, track goal progress, and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Manage team members by creating work schedules and assigning specific tasks.
- Direct and manage financial planning and budgeting efforts to optimize operations, maximize investments, and improve overall efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and proper stock levels.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and present recommendations to leadership.
- Maintain stock availability to minimize shortages and ensure timely distribution.
- Set and implement facility goals, objectives, and procedures, collaborating with senior management and staff to align strategies.

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 11pm
- Located in: Feasterville
