System Architect Job Description

A System Architect with a deep understanding of IOT Integration, Azure, DevOps, Python, C#, Angular, Advanced Networking Concepts, and Cloud Computing. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage robust, scalable software and systems across cloud and on-prem environments. You will lead architecture software and systems design, optimize infrastructure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-performance solutions. A strong focus on unit testing, end-to-end testing, and CI/CD pipelines is required to ensure quality, security, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• System Design & Architecture: Lead the design of highly scalable, resilient, and secure systems in Azure cloud and hybrid environments.
• IoT Integration: Architect and implement integration solutions for IoT devices with custom firmware, ensuring seamless communication between devices and cloud services.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Architect and manage cloud solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, and Azure Networking.
• DevOps & Automation: Develop and implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing.
• Software Development: Collaborate with software teams to design and implement system integrations using C#, Python, and Angular. Ensure alignment of application development with architectural standards and best practices.
• Testing: Implement unit testing and end-to-end testing strategies to ensure software and system quality. Collaborate with development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring. Ensure continuous integration and delivery best practices are followed for seamless application updates.
• Networking & Security: Design and configure networking architecture, including VNETs, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers. Implement security best practices, including identity management, encryption, and monitoring.
• Cloud Migration: Lead efforts in migrating on-premises systems to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and product teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and security.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, standards, and guidelines for system architecture and design.

Successful Candidates Will Be/Have:

• Strong knowledge of software revision control concepts and methodology
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts
