This role is located in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
The Services Computer Technician will work on the addition or removal of wiring and connections on non-working and live DC power equipment. This may include the installation of cabinets & controllers. Preventative maintenance work will also be performed. Responsible for weekly tool inventory, writing and submitting the MOP (Method of Procedure). Responsible for timesheet for self and crew, safety adherence, and jobsite house cleaning. This role will also be responsible for computer data input, processes and programming.
Responsibilities:
On-time completion and quality of the installation project
Support job package administration including weekly tool inventory, write and submit the Method of Procedure (MOP), reparation and submittal, create timesheet for self and crew, safety adherence, and house cleaning.
Responsible for inventory and staging of equipment and materials, weekly status report to supervisor, reading and interpreting specifications and drawings.
Add or remove all wiring and connections on non-working and live DC power equipment and assist on working equipment.
Assist technicians on lead verification (voltage)
Add or remove telecom batteries.
Add or remove common systems equipment hardware.
Follow all EHS guidelines.
Responsible for computer data input/processes/programming
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED
• Three years of experience in telecommunication equipment installation
• Three years of data programming
• Valid driver's license
• Computer skills including Microsoft 365 and Microsoft suite of applications.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 100% of the time.
• Ability and willingness to work varying shifts (swing shifts)

• Strong customer service mindset
• Prior field engineering experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Ability to operate motorized lift equipment to maneuver, install or remove 40-750 lb. batteries.
• Frequently pushing or pulling cables up to 60 lbs.
• Frequently climbing ladders up to 8 ft.
• Frequently working/standing on ladders for long periods of time
• Continuous standing
• Frequently reaching above, below or at shoulder level
• Frequently bending, twisting, or stooping
• Frequently crouching or squatting
• Be exposed to varying environments with moderate noise levels, nominal variations in heat and cold.
