This position will be responsible for providing comprehensive support services to the NHLBI's
Technology and Applications Center (ITAC) Business Solutions Delivery Branch (BSDB). The role involves ensuring compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, which mandates accessibility for individuals with disabilities. The analyst will work collaboratively with contract teams, CORs, and other stakeholders to review and remediate 508 compliance issues across NHLBI's digital assets, including websites, applications, and document files. The position requires a deep understanding of accessibility principles, gov. regulations, and experience with enterprise computer applications various accessibility tools.
Position Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a combination of education, technical skills, and collaborative experience to fulfill the responsibilities effectively. The specific requirements include:
Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant field (Information Sciences; Computer Science; Computer Programming and Data Processing).
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a computer related field.
Skills: Section 508 of Rehabilitation Act of 1973, excellent analytical, critical thinking, decision making, organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills, both oral and written
