Overview
An Omni Engineering Intern will assist with the detail and development of a multitude of engineering projects with both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with detailing and creating drawings for project work.
- May travel to operations to take field measurements, gather details of projects, and create project scopes.
- Assist with the detail and development of projects (new installations, process improvements, & product upgrades).
- Work with operations, outside vendors, and contractors to execute projects.
- Communicate and coordinate projects with operations, vendors, and contractors.
- Assist with determining product qualities by hand sortation.
- Work with operations, sales & marketing to develop project goals.
Qualifications
- Must be a Junior or higher pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be organized and able to manage time effectively.
- Must be willing to learn and/or somewhat proficient in Microsoft office, AutoCAD, and Sketch-up.
