As a Field Applications Engineer (FAE), you play a critical role in collaborating with the Sales team to showcase OmniVision's products and support sales efforts in closing deals.

As a Field Applications Engineer (FAE), you play a critical role in collaborating with the Sales team to showcase OmniVision's products and support sales efforts in closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Work closely with the sales team to assess potential applications of OmniVision products, prepare detailed product specifications, and develop customer solutions.
- Offer follow-up support to the sales team and customers by sharing technical information on specific applications.
- Evaluate product performance against specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new or upgraded products.
- Participate in projects from initiation to delivery, including planning and scheduling.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Confidence in making technical presentations to various levels of customers.
- A minimum of five years of experience working in applications engineering within the semiconductor industry.
- A minimum of five years of experience as a FAE.
- Familiarity with systems is highly beneficial.
- Practical knowledge and interest in the imaging business and handset architecture are advantageous.
