PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Responsible for calculating patients’ treatment estimates.
- Enters the treatment plan into DSN software.
- Verifies patients’ calendar-year maximum benefit a week prior to surgery.
- Verifies that we have x-ray and referral for patients.
- Communicates with referring doctor regarding patients’ treatment.
- Communicates with patients regarding estimate and answers questions.
- Communicates with insurance companies as needed regarding patients’ benefits.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to accept and follow instructions by supervisor
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Ability to handle conflict and get along with people
- Ability to maintain outgoing, friendly attitude with patients and staff even under pressure
- Ability to work with interruptions and to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to speak, understand, and write fluent English
- Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Proficiency in alphabetizing, spelling, and math
- Ability to write legibly and work with numbers
- Ability to complete tasks within time frame
MUST HAVE:
Math and Problem Solving Skills. Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Adobe, Outlook) and internet resources, e.g., web-based applications and database programs -Calculator -Fax Machine – Copier – Computer
