General Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a "general laborer" with responsibilities in operation, assembly, maintenance, and cleaning. They will perform a variety of manual tasks including loading and unloading materials, assisting with assembly lines, performing basic equipment maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the facility. Mechanical experience is a plus!

Duties

• Operating machinery and equipment as needed, following proper procedures.
• Moving materials within the facility using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
• Monitoring production lines and identifying potential issues.
• Assist with assembling, packaging, and organizing products.
• Assisting in assembling products by following instructions and using hand tools.
• Inspecting assembled components for quality control.
• Packaging finished products for shipment.
• Performing basic maintenance tasks like cleaning and lubricating machinery.
• Identifying and reporting any equipment malfunctions.
• Assisting with minor repairs as needed.
• Sweeping and mopping floors in work areas.
• Removing debris and trash from workstations and production lines.
• Maintaining cleanliness in common areas and restrooms.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, perform physical tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Basic math and counting skills required for accurate inventory management
• A willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
