Location : Hybrid of 4 days on site in Columbus, OH
Duration : 6-12 months Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Position : App Delivery Specialist - This person will work the night shift on Thursday night.
This is a backfill. The resource that was in this position left for a different opportunity.
Team : Team is over 40 people as a whole this person will work with the vendor, devops.
Current Project : Someone to come in and help with delivery. They have a vendor develop the product and manages the environment. This person will be receiving the code, delivering it, and installing it. Documentation will be key. The ability to monitor and maintain. Managing the project lifecycle from dev to production.
Technical Skills :
IIS know how to navigate the server, restart the server, etc.
Splunk
Dynatrace
Azure DevOps can train if needed
Someone that is driven and organized
Someone that is adaptable and willing to try something new
Comfortable and effective communicator
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical solutions that align with business objectives.
Troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issues within the Bank's Home Lending System.
Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring availability and reliability.
Process and prepare code packages for deployment throughout our environments.
Manage the release lifecycle process, preparing for and completing the required deployments.
Develop and maintain documentation for technical processes and solutions.
Key Skills & Qualifications :
Strong understanding of server environments, particularly IIS and application services.
Experience with software deployment processes and release management.
Proficiency in file organization, data tracking, and maintaining detailed records.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Ability to read and interpret server logs for troubleshooting.
Experience with Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
Familiarity with Windows Servers and enterprise-level infrastructure.
Understanding of process automation and workflow optimization.
Hands-on experience with Splunk and Dynatrace for monitoring and diagnostics.
Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts for scheduled releases.
