SSRS Report Builder Developer
Location: Remote (Anywhere in India)
Part Time: 15-25 hours.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Microsoft (SSRS) Report Builder Developer to create, maintain, and enhance business reports using Microsoft Report Builder. In this role, you will work closely with business users to understand their reporting needs and deliver user-friendly, accurate, and insightful reports built on SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop reports using Microsoft Report Builder based on user requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define report specifications.
- Write and fine-tune SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources.
- Build visually appealing and easy-to-understand report layouts, tables, charts, and dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports.
- Provide training or documentation to help users access and interpret reports effectively.
- Maintain existing reports and update them based on evolving business needs.
- Work with database teams to understand data structures and optimize report performance.Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Report Builder and its features.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (preferably Microsoft SQL Server).
- Ability to create parameterized reports, drill-down reports, and expressions within Report Builder.
- Understanding of report design best practices, including layout, formatting, and data visualization.
- Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience working with SSRS and/or other Microsoft BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Familiarity with security models for report access and distribution.
- Background in a business environment where data-driven reporting supports decision-making.
