Job Description :
The Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization in managing vendor relationships, tracking vendor performance, and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements. This role involves gathering and analyzing data to improve vendor performance, assist in contract negotiations, and help streamline the vendor management process. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple vendor-related tasks effectively.
Job Responsibilities :
1-3 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain analysis.
Experience in data analysis, contract management, or vendor performance tracking is preferred.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data to improve vendor performance and procurement decisions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with both vendors and internal teams.
Attention to Detail : Ensure accuracy in data analysis, reporting, and vendor documentation.
Problem-Solving : Ability to identify vendor-related issues and propose solutions to improve performance.
Communication Skills : Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Analytical Thinking : Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights
Team Collaboration : Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve vendor management objectives.
Preferred Qualifications :
Certification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management - CPSM, Certified Supply Chain Professional - CSCP).
Familiarity with vendor management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba) is a plus.
