Job Title: NOC Engineer
Location: St. Louis, MO (100% onsite, relocation assistance available)
Clearance: TS/SCI
Salary: $150k-$200k Equity Relocation package
I am partnered with a leading defense tech company who are looking for 2 NOC Engineers to join them and be based out of St. Louis, MO. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and will be 100% on site in a SCIF due to the nature of the work.
My client is at the forefront of technology, enabling smarter, real-time decisions for military decision-makers. They are partnered with customers across the DOD and NATO with huge growth plans for this and next year.
Experience needed:
- 5 years of experience in incident response, system reliability, or infrastructure operations.
- 2 years in a technical leadership or management role.
- Deep expertise in Linux-based environments and production monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Strong command-line debugging and automation skills.
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance and Security or another DoD 8570.01-approved certification.
What you will do:
- Be part of a NOC team responsible for monitoring, incident response, and system reliability across production environments.
- Develop and implement systems, standards, and team culture to ensure mission readiness.
- Drive process maturity while maintaining hands-on involvement in incident response and troubleshooting.
- Empower the team by aligning incident response to business outcomes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment during incidents.
- Analyze logs and system performance to identify areas for improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
