Job Description
The Document Specialist position provides support to the Quality Control Department. The Document Specialist creates and maintains records and enters data into defined templates. The Document Specialist prepares and proofreads a variety of documents providing traceability for parts manufactured by OMW.
Job Responsibilities
- Create document packages as required by OMW’s customers. Collate various documents into a larger package, validating conformance to customer specifications and requirements.
- Schedule and support source inspection for various customers, acting as liaison between OMW, the customer, and internal stakeholders. Interact with a variety of customer portals to manage source inspection activities.
- Develop the expertise to review and validate material and process certifications.
- Prepare AS9102-compliant First Article Inspection Reports.
- Collect, scan and upload material certifications.
- Conduct secondary review of co-workers’ documentation packages.
- Provide additional support as needed.

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma; college degree desirable
