Delivery Driver and Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate 26' box truck to transport goods efficiently.
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of all products.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Ability to install appliances, furniture and fitness equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Skills

• Proficient in heavy lifting and capable of moving large items safely.
• Familiarity with route driving and logistics operations.
• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients during deliveries.
• Experience installing appliances (no dishwashers or over-the-range microwaves), furniture and fitness equipment is a plus.
• Ability to load and unload items efficiently using appropriate techniques.
