BASIC FUNCTION:
As a Planner/Scheduler at Omya, you will play a vital role in optimizing production schedules and ensuring efficient resource allocation. This position is key to supporting our operational excellence and enhancing our ability to meet customer demands effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize efficiency and meet customer delivery requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment on production goals and resource availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to manage material flow effectively.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements for scheduling processes.
- Implement project management principles to oversee scheduling projects from initiation to completion.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding schedule changes and updates.
- Liaison with current and future vendors.
- Other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience in industrial maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
