About the Position

Responsibilities
- Oversee all internal project aspects, including data review, information analysis, and ensuring compliance with standards and design concepts.
- Lead the development of preliminary layouts, design concepts, and detailed design drawings, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards and codes.
- Utilize, instruct, and delegate application usage for generating project-specific drawings, reports, or other technical deliverables
- Manage quality control procedures and recommend QC process enhancements
- Train and mentor junior staff on technical aspects and policies
- Develop engineering plans and specifications in a team environment for a multitude of projects
- Assist Project Managers with managing and delegating tasks, forecasting and proactively addressing workload, financial performance, and staffing needs, while collaborating with clients and teammates across the organization
- Oversee and engage in the development of existing client relationships, including conducting periodic meetings, developing proposals and budgets, and gathering feedback with teammates
- Assist with Business Development and Visibility efforts representing VHB in the community.
