Job Summary : The CAD Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for a chemical process facility using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role involves collaborating with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure accurate and efficient design and layout of equipment, piping, and facility structures related to fragrance manufacturing. The selected candidate will be required to use ingenuity and forward thinking to successfully create designs that will have minimal effect on the existing layout, as the plant has a dense footprint with little open space.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and prepare detailed CAD drawings for facility layouts, equipment installations, and piping systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes and improvements in design.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and data for accurate drafting.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including technical reports and manuals.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documents.
- Provide support during the construction and installation phases by addressing design-related queries.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions and problem-solving.
