Position Summary:
We are looking for a designer that can ensure timely and efficient project completions that will achieve customer objectives. This person will work with the Design / Engineering team, Crafts and various customers in order to develop accurate design drawings suitable for construction.
Job Skills & Knowledge:
- Must be proficient in Auto Cad 2020 or newer (which includes knowledge of X’refs)
- Must be skilled in mechanical (Piping / HVAC) design. Electrical design a plus.
- Must be able to read / understand PI&D’s
- Must be able to adapt existing products and processes in unique ways to solve customer problems
- Must be able to help create solutions to customer problems
- Must be proficient in the use of common office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must take ownership of his / her projects
- Must be able to multi-task while maintaining project deadlines
- Must be self-motivated
- Knowledge of Semiconductor industry / Tool Hook-up a plus
- Develop conceptual & detailed designs by analyzing equipment / vendor specifications, customer requirements, & existing designs.
- Work with multiple customers and Facilities personnel
- Support engineering evaluations (working with Engineering System Owners)
- Maintain utility database
- Field Work (As-Builts, etc.)
- Follow Design & Cad best practices
- Maintain confidential information
- Follow and comply with all safety regulations
