On Cue Hire is seeking a Data Engineer for our client, based in Midtown Manhattan. This is a full-time, onsite position.
The Data Engineer will have expertise in data aggregation, analysis, automation, and visualization to support real-time election and polling data coverage. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical skills in data manipulation, API integration, and visualization, along with a deep interest in political data and election reporting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and enhance polling, election, and numerical data tracking to generate real-time insights.
- Develop data pipelines, automation tools, and database applications to aggregate and manage large datasets.
- Integrate API-driven data sources and low-code database applications for efficient data processing.
- Create data visualizations for television broadcasts, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Work primarily with Google Sheets, APIs, advanced spreadsheets, and scripting tools to optimize workflows.
- Collaborate with a fast-paced team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of polling and election data insights.
