Job Title: Sr. Cloud Engineer/ Principal

Duration: 6 months contract-to-hire

Location: (Mostly Remote) St. Paul, MN

Job Description:

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain our Azure cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to support business applications and services.

Develop and implement cloud architecture solutions that meet business requirements and industry best practices.

Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.

Automate cloud operations and processes using tools such as Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and PowerShell.

Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly.

Conduct regular security assessments and implement security best practices to protect cloud resources.

Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, providing timely support to internal teams.

Stay up-to-date with Azure features, services, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5 years of cloud engineering experience, focusing on Azure.

Proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure cloud environments.

Strong understanding of Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.

The projected hourly range for this position is $60-75/hr.
