Job Title: Sr DBA
Duration: 3 months contract huge possibility to extend or covert to full-time
Location: (Hybrid) St Eden Prairie, MN
Job Description:
- Principal level SQL Server DBA with a high level of knowledge in the following:
- Knowledge of MS SQL database and performance monitoring/management tools is required
- Knowledge of Azure SQL and Cloud operations
- Knowledge of hardware and storage related peripherals
- Knowledge of always on availability groups and mirroring
- Knowledge of industry best practices on management of MS SQL databases/applications is required
- Knowledge of industry best practices SQL database backup and recovery methods
- Knowledge of industry best practices of SQL database security (all aspects)
- Knowledge of scripting / PowerShell is required
- Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and MDS operations
- Knowledge and familiarity with performance analysis and database tuning is required
- Preferred knowledge of Power BI administration and dashboarding
- Preferred knowledge of data movement tooling like Azure Data Factory and Data Lake setup and configuration
The projected hourly range for this position is $70-80/hr.
