On Demand Counseling of East Liverpool is looking for a Medical Assistant who would be able to work at multiple locations. Help make a positive change in a positive and healing environment.

Standard Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and greet customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
- Communicate with staff regarding clients and service performed.
- Schedule appointments for services and obtain necessary prior authorizations.
- Perform assigned clinical duties such as urine drug screens, breathalyzer testing, injections, phlebotomy services and completion of vitals.
- Properly and accurately document data related to the identification of the donor and completion of sample labels, logs, and billing sheets.
- Adheres to quality assurance and quality control procedures in the performance of all screenings/testing's.
- Complete daily paperwork and enter.
- Scan and send physical results to companies.
- Assist with client chart audits and work with staff and physicians to ensure proper documentation and billing.
- Track drug screens to coordinate care and ensure completion of appropriate drug screens.
- Performs other clerical duties including inventory and maintenance of supplies, copying, faxing, scanning and mailing as assigned.
- Attend required training's and maintain required credentials associated with the position.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of substance use disorders and impact upon individuals seeking services.
- Knowledge of medical procedures, operations and terminology.
- Professional experience with management and staff supervision, including working with a team.
- Must be able to form good working and therapeutic relationships.
- Must be organized, detail oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Medical Assistant certification required.
