Rounding Physician Overview:
- Conduct on-site visits providing care for patients in our addiction treatment facility.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Develop personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nurses and therapists, to ensure coordinated care.
- Build trusting relationships with patients and their families, fostering open communication and shared decision-making.
- Educate patients and families about their health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
Rounding Immediate Care Physician Profile:
- Valid and unrestricted MD license from the appropriate medical licensing board.
- Experience in addiction recovery or emergency care.
- Prior experience in rounding.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, enabling accurate assessments, appropriate treatment planning, and efficient decision-making.
- Proficient in developing and implementing personalized care plans, considering patient preferences, medical history, and evidence-based guidelines.
